Michael Ashton Stephens passed away on Monday, Aug. 19, 2024, at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Ky., with his loving family at his side. He was 21.
Life
Ashton, the son of Tony Stephens and Michella Woods Stephens, was born on May 16, 2003. He made a profession in Christ at an early age and was baptized as a member of the Pleasant Grove United Baptist Church in Winfield. He worked in both construction and concrete and was adept at all else he set his mind to. He had a wonderful sense of humor, eclectic tastes, and was a talented musician.

Survivors
- Parents: Tony Stephens and Michella Woods Stephens.
- Brothers: Joseph Stephens and wife Leah, Dustin Stephens and wife Shelby, Christian Stephens, Nicholas Stephens and wife Brooke, and Eeyan Ellis.
- Sisters: Lindsey Jones Marrisa Stephens.
- Grandparents: Morris and Bonnie Stephens, and Joyce Chitwood.
Services
- Visitation:Saturday, Aug. 24, 2024, from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. in the chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home in Oneida.
- Funeral:To follow at 2 p.m. with Bro. Brandon Braydon officiating. Music will be provided by the Chitwood Boys.
- Committal Service:To follow in the Stephens Family Cemetery in the Isham community.
