When will I hear back after I've applied?
If there is a good match between your background and the job requirements, the recruiting team will contact you directly. However, the timeframe depends on the position and the number of applicants.
You can always check the status of the jobs to which you've successfully applied by logging into your account.

What is a Talent Network?
A Talent Network allows interested candidates to receive job alerts and communications from UMMS regarding job opportunities, events, news and other career-related information without actually applying for a position.

What do the job categories mean?
Allied Health - Social Workers, Respiratory, Rehab, Imaging, Pharmacy,
Clerical - administrative and clerical roles like Registrars, Admin Assistants, Unit Clerks, etc.
Information Technology - all jobs relating to Information Technology.
Management - Manager level roles and above.
Nursing - Registered Nurses, LPNs, Nurse Managers, Charge Nurse and other leadership roles in nursing.
Nursing Support - PCTs, CNAs, Medical Assistants, Companions, Sitters, etc.
Professionals - Business/ Corporate roles like HR, Finance, Marketing, Foundation, and other business operations roles.
Service - Food Services, Environmental Services, Facilities, Security, etc.

My computer keeps freezing or kicking me out of the application. What should I do?
These issues are often related to the computer/device you are using to apply and not the application itself. You can do a few things to ensure you don't run into any technical issues.
- Make sure you are using a supported web browser that is up-to-day: List of supported browsers
- Clear the cache/browser history for your web browser.
- Completely shut down and reboot your computer/device.

My application keeps timing out. What should I do?
There is a timer at the top of the application. You have 20 minutes to complete each page before it times out. You can save your progress as you go if you need longer to fill out the application. Just click the Save button at the bottom of the application.

If you've tried the "I have forgotten my password" link and you aren't receiving the email, please check your junk/spam folder and be sure you have noreply@umm.edu added to your contact list. If you are still unable to reset your password, reach out to our HRConnections Service Center at 1-855-486-6747 to have it reset manually.

No. The Talent Community is a different system that allows candidates to express an interest in UMMS and sign up for email alerts on the latest openings. If you want to apply, you'll need to create a candidate profile and submit an application for a specific position.

After clicking "Account Login" at the top of the careers site, click on "Forgot your Password?" and enter your email address. You'll be emailed a temporary password, so you can log in and reset your password.

Visit Update My Profile. Update your profile and select the arrow next to "Get our newest jobs by email". You'll be able to select the frequency of your alerts, job categories, and job title of the jobs that match your skills.

On the Career Site click on "Account Login", and then choose "Sign In" to your account. Under "Account Information" you'll see an option to Update Your Password. Alternately, you can choose "Forgot Password" and a password reset link will be sent to your email address.
